Chaweng Beach is known for its vibrant atmosphere, with numerous beachfront resorts, restaurants, and bars offering a wide range of dining and entertainment options. During the day, visitors can enjoy water activities. At night, the beach comes alive with beach parties, live music, and vibrant nightlife.

The northern part of the beach, situated opposite a small satellite island Koh Matlang, has the most winding coastline. Here, the sand is soft and white, but the shallows stretch out for a long distance, sometimes as far as a couple of kilometers. These shallows are picturesque and very appealing for walks on the sand, photo shoots, and sunbathing.

However, you have to go around large areas of the sea bed, abundant in seaweed and sharp chips of corals. Farther, after the shallows, coral gardens start, that encircle the bay of the northern Chaweng. It is possible to find patches of clean sandy beds between them, where anyone of any age goes wearing goggles or masks to watch the diversity of multi-colored small fish of different kinds.

The sea becomes really deep behind the corals, it is azure and pure during a still. Closer to the central part of the beach, at a distance of about one kilometer, a stony ridge stretches out along the coast, it is very shallow, and there is silt and seaweed on the bed. You don't feel like going into the water, even wetting your feet.

Chaweng Noi Beach offers a more relaxed and peaceful atmosphere compared to Chaweng Beach. While it is still lined with a variety of resorts, restaurants, and beachfront bars, the beachfront area is less crowded, allowing visitors to enjoy a more secluded and intimate beach experience

The sand on Chaweng Noi Beach is of tender creamy shade and is very fine. The color of water is purely blue, depending on light transforming into greenish turquoise color. The entrance into the sea is smooth. A considerable depth begins at a distance of about 5-7 meters from the seashore.

There is no vegetation on the sandy bottom. It is so pleasant to swim in goggles, admiring the blue mass of transparent water and the well-shaped patterns of the bottom. There are small schools of frisky little fish in Chaweng Noi, beautiful seashells, and tiny bleached chops of dead corals. Both adults and kids feel good here, the former – because of comfort, the latter – because of fun.

Maenam is a perfect beach with an imperfect sea. The sea bed here is sand with silt, as a result, the water is muddy and cloudy. In tropical water, it is preferable to see if there is something unusual near you. Occasionally, large and dangerous jellyfish and other unfriendly inhabitants of the deep sea approach the shore. The safest way of swimming is, of course, near the shore. Basically, this is what local holidaymakers do.

Apart from that, everything is fine. Beautiful sand of warm caramel shade reminds of coarse-grained cane sugar. The sea is deep, and an entrance into it is steep and fast. It is enough to move a couple of meters away from the shore to get covered with water. Because of that and cloudy water, you have to always keep an eye on little kids.

The best place for swimming on Choeng Mon Beach is in the very centre. This part of the beach only stretches for a few hundreds of meters, but it's quite wide, so it doesn't seem cramped at all. The sand is fine and light here.

Walking on it is pure pleasure, not least because it doesn't get as warm, as coarse sand or pebbles, and it doesn't burn your feet.
The water is quite transparent, most of all – by the very shore. Yet, it is not as ideally pure as on Chaweng Noi Beach, for example, or Choeng Mon Beach.

People, who like diving wearing a mask or goggles, probably, will be disappointed by its visibility. Although the sea bed in the centre of Choeng Mon is as sandy as the beach itself, farther from the shore (20-30 meters away) there are muddy areas, there is some suspended matter in the water because of them. There may be some stones and chips of corals by the shore.

There are more of them by the borders of the main beach. The southern part of Choeng Mon Beach is unsuitable for swimming because of numerous stones, dead corals, shallow bottom and silt. During low tide the stony bottom becomes all visible here.

Tongsai Bay can easily have a claim on the title of the beach with the deepest sea bottom on Koh Samui.

The slope of the sea bed is quite steep, and the sand of the bed is rather unfixed, in two steps you find yourself deep up to your chest in the water. You can't reach the sea bottom only in the distance of 3-4 meters from the shore, and a little bit farther it becomes difficult to reach the bed even for those, who like diving deeply.

Moreover, the water in Tong Sai Bay is cloudy, and it is easy to swim into a jellyfish or another unfriendly inhabitant if the deep sea.

The beach in Thongson Bay is covered with greyish, fine sand with an addition of small pebbles and seashell dust. It is not too wide, especially at high tide. On both its ends the shore and the bottom are stony. Yet, in the centre entering the water should be careful: there are some areas covered with sharp corals.

The water on Thongson is shallow and cloudy. Walking in the water up to knees on this beach isn't so exciting: you should always be aware in order not to get hurt, and you cannot watch frisky fish, which can be found here as everywhere else on Koh Samui, properly because of muddy water. You feel like kayaking more on Thongson more than diving into the water.

Samrong is a tiny bay, which seabed is almost completely covered with coral gardens and colonies of seaweed. Sharp corals await you by the very shore, and you may cut your foot upon your first two steps. That's why it is highly recommendable to enter the water in Samrong Beach, only wearing special slippers for swimming.

Even the fact, that it is very shallow here and the darkening in the water seaweed can be easily seen, doesn't help.

In the northern part of the bay, there is a pontoon pier, from which you can go down to the clear bottom, leading as a narrow pathway to deeper waters. You will have to walk farther for about 50 meters in order to dive and swim at last.

At a distance of half a kilometer from the shore the beach Plai Laem is enclosed by a whole range of coral thickets. On the whole area within those borders, the water will hardly reach your knees.

The Full Moon Party is an iconic and legendary event that takes place on the island of Koh Phangan in Thailand. Also, you may observe the langurs in their natural habitat (unless they are having a nap) or just relax on the beach, sunbathe and swim.

In order to learn fast how to stand and paddle correctly, you need to get a lesson with our instructor where they will tell you some safety instructions on the water, show you the equipment and teach you the correct posture and paddling technique.
After a detailed briefing on the shore, we will move on to a practical lesson on the water, where you will learn to keep balance, paddle and maneuver.

2. The trip. An unforgettable adventure.
After a practical lesson, we will set sail for a fascinating trip through the most beautiful places of Samui. We will visit uninhabited beaches, take pictures with beautiful nature in the background, meet the sunrise and the sunset, admire the schools of fish and if we are lucky we will see big turtles. Furthermore, we will swim in the crystal clear sea and enjoy carefully prepared for you Thai fruits.
Throughout the session you will be accompanied by a qualified instructor who will take care of your safety and comfort.
Practical training and the trip are held along the coastline in the shallow water under the supervision of the instructor. There is always a man on the shore who has a boat at his disposal.

Kayaking is a sport, based on steering a small maneuverable boat. It is maneuverable because of its structure. Boats of this type have a narrow hull, pointed ends and they are long. Koh Taen, Koh Mat Sum and Koh Rap are situated very close to Koh Samui and usually there are no tourists. You can easily reach them on a boat.

The Koh Rap Island is calm, deserted and very beautiful. Here you can take beautiful photos, admire crystal-clear water, reefs, and white sand.

Koh Taen is famous for snorkeling and swimming. Giant mollusks, corals and various tropical fish live in the protected reefs of Koh Taen and nearby. While snorkeling, you should remember not to step on corals, in order not to hurt neither you nor a coral. You can also take a walk through mangrove forests on Koh Taen, ride an electric car in the wild jungle, where thousands of flying foxes live.

To the south from Koh Ten there is Koh Mat Sum, known as Pig Island. Here, cute pigs are running around on the dazzling sand. You can feed them and take selfies with them. Your children will be glad to run on the sand with lovely pigs. You can chill out on deck chairs under umbrellas, drink mojitos and eat homemade Ko Pad Krao at Mr. Kitt's cafe. And meet the sunset on the way back.
